📣 More great news for TCC Clubrooms
We are thrilled to announce that an elected Liberal Government will commit $3 million to the redevelopment of our clubrooms!

Manny Chiccchiello (Liberal for Aston) shared this fantastic news, stating, "This means better facilities for women’s and junior teams, and more opportunities for people to get involved in grassroots sport in Wantirna."

This is a huge win for our members, supporters, and the entire local community. We are incredibly grateful for this significant commitment and look forward to working with Manny, an elected Liberal Government and the Knox City Council to bring our new clubrooms to life.

📣Coaching Announcement

We are thrilled to welcome Jordan Roberts to our Club as our new playing Senior Coach! It is a homecoming of sorts, as Jordan began his cricket journey as a Taipan.

Jordan brings a wealth of experience and an impressive cricketing resume to our club:

🏏14 seasons & 207 games of premier cricket at Ringwood Cricket Club
🏏 Premier XI debut in the 2022/23 season
🏏 4 seasons as captain across both 3rd and 2nd XI
🏏 3rd XI Premiership Captain in 2019/20
🏏 Over 3000 runs and over 150 wickets

In addition to his playing career, Jordan has also made significant contributions as a coach with the U16 Dowling Outer East Assistant Coach & 4 years as Jim Beitzel RDCA U16 Head Coach.

We are confident that Jordan's expertise and leadership will be invaluable as we strive for new heights. Join us in giving him a warm welcome!

🏆 Women’s Presentation Night

Our victorious women’s team attended the RDCA Women’s presentation night this week and collected their premiership flag!

🥇Along with that flag, Megan Payne also took home the Batting Award for her 235 runs at an average of 47. And also won the Champion Player award for their grade.

🥇Olivia Payne picked up the Bowling award for her 12 wickets at an average of 10.75.

Well done ladies! Looking forward to another great season in 2025/26!

📣 $3M to redevelop Templeton Reserve Pavilion

In exciting news for our Club, the Hon Catherine King MP (Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government) and Mary Doyle MP (Federal Member for Aston) announced that a re-elected Albanese Labor Government will provide $3 million for the redevelopment of our pavilion.

This is fantastic news for our members, supporters, and the local community. We are incredibly grateful for this significant commitment and look forward to collaborating with a re-elected Albanese Labor Government and Knox City Council to bring this redevelopment to life.

Last weekend we held our Junior Presentation night. It was fantastic to see so many of our junior families in attendance.

This morning, we saw our U16-5 team put together an outstanding, come from behind performance, to win a flag!

Finishing third on the ladder, this great group of young men have knocked off the two teams above them on the ladder over the finals series to deservedly bring home the silverware!

Whilst a Grand Final can’t be won by only one person, a special shout out goes to the MOTM for the day, Luke Moore, who finished with 43* off 29 balls with the bat - and then followed it up with 4/19 off eleven overs with the ball! Well done Luke!

Well done crew! To those of you who are finishing your junior Taipan journey, we thank you and can’t wait to see you in the senior division next year!

This weekend saw the completion of the season for our 2s and 4s, with them both unfortunately finishing their season with a loss in the first week of finals.

After four years of blood, sweat and tears - our 1st XI Women’s teams have brought home the silverware! Putting on a solid performance against Ainslie Park today, they won the game by six wickets with seven overs remaining chasing down their score of 122!

A brilliant effort! We are so proud of the amazing group of women you all are and how far we have come in such a short period of time!

Raising funds for Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA)

What BCNA does:
•Provides information and resources to Australians about breast cancer;
•Offers support through an online community;
•Advocates for policy and change;
•Ensures people affected by breast cancer receive the best care, treatment & support.

Our 4th annual Ladies Day was a hot & windy 37 degrees.

But nothing stopped our incredible community of women from attending, partying and supporting this great event.

TCC Ladies Day becomes more successful & memorable every year, due to the growing number of women in our community who attend.

A HUGE thank you to our pocket rocket Vicki Vozzo, for once again doing an incredible job of coordinating and hosting the event.

Thank you to the many local businesses such as Miss Molly, Vamp and Bombshell Salon who support Ladies Day every year.

This year we’re proud to announce our biggest profit of $4349.50, with all proceeds going to BCNA.

Thank you to the extraordinary women in our community who continue to come along, have fun, entertain and contribute to the success of this day. We couldn’t do this without you, even if you were wearing half the decorations by the end of the night!

🏏 Cricket Blast 2024/25

This Friday is the final session for what has been an epic Cricket Blast season at Templeton Cricket Club.

With 44 participants, 7 coaches, 10 sessions, MCG Mini bash game at the Women’s Ashes test and weekly complimentary snags in bread & a juice box for the all participants ………we have certainly packed a lot in!

There will be a medal presentation at the end of this Friday’s session, and of course the usual BBQ.
